WNCC Volleyball Season Opener
WNCC volleyball is set to open their season this weekend at the Reiver Invite in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The Cougars, ranked 18th in the NJCAA Division I preseason poll, will face off against some of the top teams in the country.
WNCC Volleyball Schedule
WNCC will open the season on Friday, August 22, against Iowa Western. The Cougars will then face off against Kirkwood Community College on Saturday, August 23, and North Platte Community College on Sunday, August 24.
WNCC Volleyball Roster
The Cougars will be led by a strong group of returners, including sophomore outside hitter Lexi Hagan and sophomore middle blocker Corrin Green.
WNCC also added a number of talented newcomers, including freshman outside hitter Morgan Brandt and freshman middle blocker Kylie Nott.
WNCC Volleyball Outlook
The Cougars are hoping to build on a successful 2023 season, in which they finished 27-8 and reached the Region IX Tournament semifinals.
WNCC is also hoping to make a run at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament this season.
