WEB CO2 Sensor Wall Module: Installation Instructions

Step 1: Wall Mounting

Mount the sensor module on a wall at the desired location using the supplied screws and anchors. The sensor should be placed at a height between 5 and 6 feet (1.5-1.8 meters), with the inlet facing the area to be monitored.

3. Electrical Connections

4-Wire Sensor:

  1. Connect the two heater wires (typically red and black) to the corresponding terminals on the sensor module.
  2. Connect the signal wire (typically white) to the "Signal" terminal.
  3. Connect the earth wire (typically green) to the "Earth/Ground" terminal.

Keep High and Low Voltage Wires Separated

Ensure that the high-voltage wiring (e.g., power supply) is kept separate from the low-voltage wiring (e.g., sensor signals). Use different conduits or cable trays to avoid interference.

Cable Ferrules for Multi-Stranded Wire

If multi-stranded wire is used, terminate the wires with cable ferrules to prevent fraying and ensure secure connections.

Color Coding

For easy maintenance and servicing, color-code all sensor wiring to match the corresponding terminals on the sensor module. This simplifies troubleshooting and wire identification in the future.
