WEB CO2 Sensor Wall Module: Installation Instructions
Step 1: Wall Mounting
Mount the sensor module on a wall at the desired location using the supplied screws and anchors. The sensor should be placed at a height between 5 and 6 feet (1.5-1.8 meters), with the inlet facing the area to be monitored.
3. Electrical Connections
4-Wire Sensor:
- Connect the two heater wires (typically red and black) to the corresponding terminals on the sensor module.
- Connect the signal wire (typically white) to the "Signal" terminal.
- Connect the earth wire (typically green) to the "Earth/Ground" terminal.
Keep High and Low Voltage Wires Separated
Ensure that the high-voltage wiring (e.g., power supply) is kept separate from the low-voltage wiring (e.g., sensor signals). Use different conduits or cable trays to avoid interference.
Cable Ferrules for Multi-Stranded Wire
If multi-stranded wire is used, terminate the wires with cable ferrules to prevent fraying and ensure secure connections.
Color Coding
For easy maintenance and servicing, color-code all sensor wiring to match the corresponding terminals on the sensor module. This simplifies troubleshooting and wire identification in the future.
